Bijnor MSMEs Take Local Craft to Global Markets at UPITS-2026
Bijnor’s traditional craftsmanship and emerging enterprise ecosystem will receive an international market platform at the fourth edition of the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show (UPITS-2026). Ten prominent industrial units, exporters and artisans from the district have been selected to showcase products before global buyers, multinational companies and business delegations at India Expo Mart.
Nagina’s renowned sheesham wood carving will be a key attraction with R.K. Handicraft, Shri Ji Craft and Handover International representing the district’s woodcraft sector. Their participation creates an opportunity to connect traditional artisans with wholesale buyers and integrate local craftsmanship with wider export supply chains.
The exhibition will also feature stone handicrafts from Malihar and Nagina Craft Development Society, textiles and handloom products from A to F Textile and premium hair wigs from Hair Fashion India, reflecting the diversification of Bijnor’s MSME base.
Agriculture-linked enterprises will add another dimension to the district’s export profile. VS Group will showcase Vidur Herbal Tea, while Creative Farming Producer Company Ltd. will present white beetroot jaggery and silage. Chaturvedi Food Pvt. Ltd. will promote traditional products including batisa, sohan papdi and khasta gajak.
From District Enterprise to Global Supply Chains
UPITS-2026 can strengthen Bijnor’s MSME ecosystem by enabling direct business-to-business (B2B) engagement with institutional buyers, exporters and foreign delegations. For traditional craft clusters, sustained buyer linkages can support production continuity, market diversification and rural employment.
The platform also aligns local enterprise promotion with Uttar Pradesh’s broader export-oriented growth strategy, giving small producers greater visibility beyond domestic markets.
Deputy Commissioner Industries Amit Kumar said the selected units have the potential to meet international quality requirements and that the department will facilitate linkages with exporters and overseas buyers.
