NITI Aayog Delegation Stresses Need to Improve Educational Outcomes and Infrastructure
A NITI Aayog delegation has emphasised the need to strengthen educational outcomes and improve infrastructure to ensure more effective and equitable delivery of education. The delegation highlighted the importance of focusing on learning outcomes, strengthening institutional capacity and ensuring that students have access to quality educational facilities.
The discussions underlined the need for evidence-based planning, regular assessment of student performance and targeted interventions to address learning gaps. Improving school infrastructure, upgrading teaching resources and strengthening digital and technological support were also identified as important measures for enhancing the quality of education.
The delegation stressed that better coordination among government departments and effective implementation of education policies are essential to achieve measurable improvements at the grassroots level. Greater focus on teacher capacity building, data-driven monitoring and outcome-oriented governance can further strengthen the education system.
The emphasis on educational outcomes and infrastructure reflects the broader objective of improving human capital and ensuring that development reaches all sections of society. Such initiatives can contribute to a more responsive, inclusive and quality-driven education system, supporting the government’s efforts towards long-term socio-economic development.
