BEL–NIRNAYA MoU Expands India’s Digital Technology and Cybersecurity Collaboration
Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with NIRNAYA Systems & Solutions Pvt. Ltd. to jointly pursue business opportunities across information technology and emerging digital technology domains. The agreement, announced on September 22, 2026, broadens BEL’s collaboration landscape beyond conventional electronics into technology-led civilian and strategic applications.
The partnership covers IT infrastructure, data centres, cybersecurity, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), healthcare IT, AI and machine-learning applications, software development and analytics platforms. The cooperation provides a framework for identifying and pursuing projects where the two organisations can combine their respective technological capabilities.
The MoU was exchanged by Anuradha Mahur, General Manager (Civilian Marketing), BEL and Binay Pratap Shahi, Co-Founder of NIRNAYA Systems & Solutions, in the presence of BEL Chairman and Managing Director Manoj Kumar Jain, Director (Marketing) Anoop Kumar Rai and senior officials from both organisations.
From a governance and technology perspective, the collaboration comes amid growing demand for resilient digital infrastructure, secure data environments and AI-enabled systems. Its inclusion of cybersecurity and data centres is particularly relevant as institutions increasingly require stronger protection of digital assets and dependable technology infrastructure.
The agreement also expands the potential application areas into healthcare IT and analytics, indicating a broader technology-market orientation. For BEL, such collaborations can create additional avenues to leverage its established institutional capabilities in emerging digital segments, while NIRNAYA brings specialised technology and solutions expertise.
The MoU therefore establishes a structured platform for joint opportunity identification, technology collaboration and development of digital solutions, subject to specific projects and future agreements.
