India-US Naval Explosive Ordnance Disposal Exercise 2026 Concludes at Kochi
The eighth edition of the India-US Naval Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Exercise 2026 concluded at the Southern Naval Command in Kochi, marking another significant milestone in the growing defence cooperation between India and the United States.
The exercise provided a specialised platform for the naval forces of both countries to enhance their operational capabilities in Explosive Ordnance Disposal, countering explosive threats and strengthening maritime security. It facilitated the exchange of professional knowledge, operational practices and technical expertise between the participating personnel.
The exercise also focused on improving interoperability, coordination and preparedness of the two navies for responding to complex maritime security challenges.
