Lucknow Set to Host Global Tech Dialogue as UP Pushes Talent, Innovation and Digital Governance
1,200 Global Policymakers, Scientists, Industry Leaders and Young Professionals to Converge at UPSIFS
Uttar Pradesh is positioning Lucknow as a platform for global technology exchange with the three-day International Dialogue 2026, scheduled at the Uttar Pradesh State Institute of Forensic Science (UPSIFS) from October 23 to 25. Nearly 1,200 policymakers, senior officials, industry leaders, scientists, researchers, startups, judicial and police officials, educators and students from India and abroad are expected to participate.
The dialogue will bring emerging technologies—including Artificial Intelligence, robotics, drones, 3-D printing, quantum computing and quantum communication—into a wider policy and governance discussion. Cyber forensics, digital evidence, data protection, privacy, auditing and legal compliance will also form key areas of deliberation.
Technology-to-Talent Pipeline Takes Centre Stage
A major objective is to connect education and industry more directly. The first day will focus on talent and industry engagement, with proposed interactions around internships, placements, future skills, technical mentoring, masterclasses and startup opportunities. Industry-academia collaboration on research, curriculum design and practical training will also be explored.
Policy, Investment and Research to Share One Platform
October 24 will feature policy-industry roundtables, technology showcases, investment dialogues and knowledge exchanges involving government representatives, companies and startups. Potential collaborations, joint research and MoUs are also expected to be explored.
Forensics Meets Law and Emerging Technology
UPSIFS will showcase its “Law with Labs” approach, linking legal education with scientific evidence and modern forensic technologies. Its laboratories cover areas including forensic DNA, AI, robotics, drones, 3-D printing and cyber forensics, reflecting an integrated approach to technology-enabled investigation and justice delivery.
Industry Participation to Expand the Innovation Ecosystem
Technology companies, startups, law firms, legal-tech enterprises and compliance institutions can participate through proposed Silver, Gold and Platinum categories. The broader objective is to develop a roadmap connecting talent development, research, innovation, investment and policy support, with UPSIFS positioned as a bridge between government, academia and industry.
