UP International Trade Show 2026: Investment Climate, Manufacturing and Global Market Push
The fourth edition of the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show (UPITS) 2026 opened at India Expo Centre & Mart, Greater Noida, positioning Uttar Pradesh’s manufacturing, traditional industries and export ecosystem before domestic and international buyers. The five-day event will run from September 25 to 29. More than 2,400 exhibitors and international buyers from several countries are participating.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah, while inaugurating the trade show, identified four key conditions for creating an investment-friendly ecosystem: strong law and order, a favourable industrial policy, a proactive government and an administration willing to facilitate industry. He said these factors have contributed to Uttar Pradesh emerging as an investment destination.
Shah also highlighted the state’s expanding manufacturing base, including defence production, infrastructure development and the One District One Product (ODOP) framework. He said Uttar Pradesh is pursuing the target of becoming a $1 trillion economy with investment, manufacturing and infrastructure forming important components of the growth strategy.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath focused on taking Uttar Pradesh’s local products and manufacturers to global markets. He said the state currently exports goods worth more than ₹2 lakh crore and is seeking stronger links between artisans, manufacturers and international companies. He also announced the expansion of the district-focused economic model through One District One Cuisine, alongside the existing ODOP initiative.
The trade show therefore goes beyond exhibition activity, functioning as a platform for B2B engagement, export expansion, investment opportunities and market access. With global buyers, MSMEs, manufacturers and emerging sectors participating, UPITS 2026 is aimed at strengthening Uttar Pradesh’s integration with domestic and international supply chains.
