Dairy Investment Push at UPITS-2026 Signals Fresh Jobs and Regional Industrial Expansion
The Uttar Pradesh government’s investment outreach at UP International Trade Show (UPITS) 2026 is translating into fresh proposals for the dairy sector with 22 companies proposing investments worth ₹695.18 crore across the state. According to the Dairy Development Department, these proposals are expected to generate employment opportunities for more than 2,500 youth, strengthening the link between investment mobilisation and local job creation.
The largest proposal has come from Ace International Ltd, which has proposed an investment of ₹457 crore across Hathras, Aligarh and Agra. The project is expected to provide employment to around 1,500 youth. Company representative Aditya Goyal described Uttar Pradesh as a preferred investment destination and said the company had coordinated with the department on the proposed investment.
Another major proposal has been received from Carebro Innovators Pvt. Ltd., which plans to invest ₹100 crore across Ayodhya, Lucknow, Meerut and Bareilly. The proposed project is expected to create employment for more than 250 people.
The investment proposals have been received under the Uttar Pradesh Dairy Development and Milk Product Promotion Policy-2022, providing a policy framework for expanding dairy processing and allied activities. The participation of major dairy players, including Parag, Amul, Namaste India, Paras Dairy, Gyan Dairy, New Era Dairy, Alpha Milk Foods and CP Milk, also underlines the sector’s growing industrial ecosystem.
Governance Impact
The ₹695.18-crore pipeline indicates that UPITS is functioning not merely as a trade platform but as an investment facilitation mechanism connecting companies with sector-specific government policies. For Uttar Pradesh, the proposed dairy investments could deepen processing capacity, create employment across multiple districts and strengthen value addition within the state’s livestock and dairy economy.
