Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show (UPITS) 2026 has emerged as an investment and market-linkage platform, generating investment proposals worth ₹6,500 crore and around 4,400 MoUs during its five-day fourth edition in Greater Noida. The event also recorded estimated business potential of ₹15,500 crore, reflecting stronger engagement among Uttar Pradesh’s MSMEs, exporters, manufacturers and domestic and international buyers.

Held at India Expo Centre and Mart
the trade show recorded more than 41,500 business-to-business meetings and nearly six lakh visitors. The participation indicates that Uttar Pradesh is increasingly using trade exhibitions not only for product promotion but also for investment facilitation, buyer discovery and market expansion.

The event highlighted district-based products and traditional industries under the state’s ODOP ecosystem. Woodcraft, food products, handicrafts and specialised manufacturing segments received exposure among buyers and trade delegates. This strengthens the policy link between local production, branding, export readiness and wider market access.

For MSMEs, UPITS extends beyond MoU numbers. Buyer-seller interactions can help enterprises build supply-chain relationships, diversify markets and convert production capacity into commercial orders. Foreign buyer participation creates opportunities for integrating Uttar Pradesh enterprises into international trade networks.

The ₹6,500 crore investment pipeline and ₹15,500 crore projected business potential should be treated as proposals and estimates rather than realised investment or turnover. Their governance value will depend on follow-up, project conversion and timely implementation.
UPITS 2026 reinforces Uttar Pradesh’s trade-promotion strategy by bringing investment, exports, MSMEs and district-level enterprise development onto a common platform, while creating a pipeline for commercial activity.
