UP International Trade Show 2026: Agra Entrepreneurs Ready to Showcase Local Craftsmanship on the Global Stage
Agra is set to make a strong impression at the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show (UPITS) 2026, scheduled to be held at India Expo Mart, Greater Noida, from September 25 to 29. As part of the state government’s initiative to connect local businesses with national and international markets, 36 entrepreneurs from Agra will participate in the event through 60 stalls.
The participation is expected to highlight Agra’s diverse industrial and handicraft ecosystem, while providing local entrepreneurs, artisans, women-led businesses and emerging exporters with opportunities to interact directly with buyers from across India and overseas.
Strong Participation from Women and Emerging Entrepreneurs
This year’s UP International Trade Show will feature participation from entrepreneurs representing several categories.
Under the One District One Product (ODOP) initiative, 8 units from Agra will showcase their products across 10 stalls. In addition, 7 units representing women entrepreneurs, MSMEs and young entrepreneurs will occupy 7 stalls.
Among these participants are four women entrepreneurs and three young entrepreneurs, who will present their products and innovations before potential buyers and business partners.
The event will also provide a platform for businesses looking to enter international markets. 17 units under the emerging exporters category will operate 25 stalls, while 9 established exporters will showcase their products through 10 stalls.
One unit will also participate under the Chief Minister’s Youth Entrepreneur Development Campaign, further expanding the representation of Agra’s growing entrepreneurial community.
Agra’s Traditional Crafts and Modern Products in Focus
Visitors to the India Expo Mart will get an opportunity to explore a wide variety of products associated with Agra’s manufacturing and handicraft sector.
The participating businesses will showcase leather goods, marble products, footwear, leather footwear, home décor items, carpets, handicrafts, handloom sarees, garments, zari-zardozi work and imitation jewellery, among other products.
The exhibition is expected to give international visitors and large-scale buyers a closer look at Agra’s craftsmanship, manufacturing capabilities and traditional skills.
Agra’s Famous Petha to Add a Culinary Attraction
The city’s participation will not be limited to handicrafts and manufactured products. Agra’s famous food products will also have a presence at the trade show.
Under the ODOP food category, five units from Agra will participate, giving visitors an opportunity to experience the city’s renowned petha along with traditional sweets and savoury snacks.
A dedicated live kitchen will also be part of the showcase, where freshly prepared food will offer visitors a taste of Agra’s culinary traditions.
Creating Business Opportunities for Local Enterprises
The UP International Trade Show has emerged as an important platform for businesses from Uttar Pradesh to connect with potential customers, distributors, investors and international buyers.
For Agra’s participating entrepreneurs, the event is expected to facilitate B2B meetings, market exposure, business networking and opportunities to explore new markets.
The growing participation from women entrepreneurs, young businesses and emerging exporters also reflects the expanding diversity of Agra’s entrepreneurial sector.
