Uttar Pradesh Approves 65-Acre Land Transfer for NSG Facility in Ayodhya
The Uttar Pradesh government has approved the transfer of 65 acres of land in Ayodhya for the establishment of a regional centre of the National Security Guard (NSG), marking a significant step towards strengthening the state’s counter-terrorism and security infrastructure.
The proposed facility is expected to provide an institutional base for NSG operations, training, preparedness and rapid response in the region. The move assumes importance in view of Ayodhya’s strategic, religious and cultural significance as well as the growing requirement for specialised security arrangements around major public and national assets.
